Hi!
My name is Anastasiya, and I love playing outdoors with my kids and taking pictures. I fell in love with photography when I moved to Mexico in 2014. Back then my camera was “my license to get curious”. I enjoyed taking snaps of street serendipities, and besides Mexico had so much to offer for a photographer: rich textures and colors, vibrant culture and traditions.
In 2015 my partner and I moved to Canada, and we had our first baby. Naturally the focus of my photography switched from street scenes to my baby boy and everything motherhood. This is when the idea of a family photography business started to take shape. First, I was taking photos of my mom-friends and local community events, eventually offering my services to a wider public. Today I’ve been photographing kids and families for nearly ten years! I’m privileged to call Vancouver Island my home now and happy to offer my photography services to the community of Victoria and beyond.
